Where is parking, and how do I find the classroom?
Paid parking is available at Parking Structure 7 and Parking Structure 6 near the Extended Studies Center. Classes are held at SDSU’s Extended Studies Center, 5701 Hardy Ave, San Diego, CA 92115. Directions and room details are included in your confirmation email!
Is First Aid & CPR the same as BLS?
No. CPR and First Aid courses are intended for normal people! For those sticking needles in people for a living (or involved in the process thereof), please direct your attention towards our BLS registration page.
Can I get this class for free?
No. Ask us nicely and we may give you a discount. If you are a first responder, student, or veteran/active military, please email contact@samaritansafety.com for your discount code.
How much does CPR Certification cost in San Diego

How long are classes?
It is dependent on the class you are taking. If you are taking Adult + Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, the full in-person skills session is about 1.5 hours. If you are choosing to only take Adult CPR certification, you will complete your training in about 45 minutes – 1 hour. Please review your class ticket for more information.
Is this certification accepted by employers?
Yes. Red Cross certification satisfies all requirements for CPR/First Aid certifications. However, your employer may have their own preference so please check with them!

In partnership with San Diego State University, Samaritan Safety Training hosts classes at the Extended Studies Center. Parking is available nearby at SDSU’s Parking Structure 7 and Parking Structure 6.
